The Big Red Lodge is ideal for groups of 12 people (1 whole snowcat!) in the highest quality, comfort, and style. It is often booked by return guests a year in advance.
It is perfect for our guests as it allows the whole group to stay under one roof and all eat and socialize around one table.
This is some of the finest ski lodging anywhere, and without a doubt the best place for a group of 12 to stay at Red Mountain - the only downside is that it is very popular and generally books out a year in advance during peak season. Check availability here and online booking available.
Rates: $799/night (~$66/person in group of 12) , and 7th night free.
10% off after 19 Mar

The luxury ski lodge includes 5 bedrooms plus loft, 2 living rooms, 3 full washrooms, and all the amenities, including.
- Hot tub
- Wireless internet
- TV & DVD player
- Wood Stove
- Gas fireplace in the second lounge room
- Central Heating.
- 2 high quality beds in each room
The cathedral ceilings in the great room allow for a stunning view of Red Mountain through the timber-framed windows. The spacious kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances make it a complete luxury get-away!
The guides can meet your full-cat group right at the lodge. They will present a briefing on safety, show you how to use avalanche transceivers, and then take you outside to practice group rescue and transceiver use. Your guide will then transport you directly from the lodge to the waiting snowcats, about 20 minutes up the highway. If you are skiing multiple days as a group, you do not require the safety briefing on subsequent days.
The lodge is self-catering, but if you would like to hire a private chef for any days you don't eat out, it can be arranged. The Big Red Lodge is across from "Fresh Cafe and Apres" for dinners, and there is a free hourly shuttle to Rossland.
You may also book the lodge for nights you are skiing at the resort.
